Each year Croydex produce both a Croydex and a Metlex catalogue. When it came to updating the Metlex catalogue in 2019 I was tasked with updating the current layout to make the information clearer for those trying to purchase from here.
Using 2 pages from the 2018 catalogue that really needed updating I decided to create a couple of different layout options in InDesign using grids with the Metlex brand colours and typefaces. This was done to smarten up the pages and make them easier to edit going forward as every element will have a specified area, making adding new products, deleting products or changing the product order a much simpler task. See below the 5 variants I came up with for a new layout.

The final catalogue featured the new agreed upon layout as well as some new photos that had been contracted and some photos that were manipulated in-house by me to create exactly the look we want Metlex to follow.
